BBC Live Badger Cam

Flintshire County Council's Countryside Service have built a badger sett at Wepre Park in Connah's Quay, Deeside. This innovative conservation project is a joint initiative between the Countryside Service and a local school.

The sett has earth lined tunnels that lead out onto woodland. Cameras and microphones have been installed to allow people in the visitor centre to see and hear inside the sett.

Phil Pearce, one of Wepre Park's Rangers invited us to take a look. We were so impressed we agreed to run a webcam, by taking a feed off the three cameras installed in the sett
