Badger baiting probe snares pair

Two men have been arrested in
Northumberland following a joint police and RSPCA investigation into
badger baiting in the county.Two houses in Cramlington were raided early on Monday and a
number of items connected with badger baiting seized. The arrests are part of a six-month operation into badger
baiting, which police say is on the increase. The men are being held under the Wildlife and Countryside Act,
