23 September 2009 - BBC News
A wildlife survey has revealed a "surprising" variety of animal life in
gardens in Oxfordshire. The RSPB charity commissioned the survey which saw 629 householders monitor
wildlife in their gardens.
The results suggested one in five gardens were home to foxes and hedgehogs,
while badgers were recorded by almost 5% of participants.
Louise Pedersen, from the RSPB said: "People are regularly seeing foxes,
hedgehogs, and badgers."
