Journals

Here are abstracts of some
research journals about badgers. This is an incomplete list of the on-line publications
we find interesting. Your university library
should have access
to these; or will be able to get them for you to
consult for free. If not, your librarian or tutor may be able to order them at "Academic
Pricing" or "Student Discount" prices. If not, try
using the mail order photocopy service by the British Library (in
London). Check this out at:

Otherwise, buy a complete copy of the full
article by setting up an account with the Publishing Company (often
www.ingenta.com or
www.sciencedirect.com). You can also use the Ingenta
web site to research scientific papers by doing a keyword search.
Some of the publications listed here are provided as free open-access, so
you may be able to get a PDF copy of the complete article at no cost.

Scientific Journals Copyright |
These are simplified abstracts of scientific papers about badgers.
Copyright in the journal article remains with the third-party copyright owner. This may be
the publisher of the journal, the organisation who commissioned the work or the researchers. For further details,
contact the publisher of the journal or the corresponding author.
Badgerland do not provide electronic or paper copies of journals.
We do not condone or encourage copyright infringement. |
Badger Types! |
Unless stated otherwise, all these publications relate to the Eurasian Badger (Meles meles) only. The
term "bTB" has been used as shorthand to cover all instances of bovine
tuberculosis, M Bovis and related terms. We may have simplified complex scientific jargon, to
use terminology more commonly understood by ordinary mortals. Please let us know if we have misinterpreted any publication, and we will correct our error. |
