Our web site is about information about the badger, it's lifestyle and its environment. To do this, we provide freely-accessible information pages, which you can read as you wish without the need for prior registration. You can visit our website without revealing any information about yourself.

Badgerland is registered as an organisation under the Data Protection Act. The registration is in the name of "Badgerland" and "Red House Consultancy Services Ltd" (the company which owns the Badgerland web-site). The name of the Data Controller is Simon Flory.

Badgerland complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (as amended) relating to the holding of personal data. Where we hold data about you we will only use this for the purposes you have agreed to.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold on you in return for the payment of a small fee and to require us to correct any inaccuracies in your personal data. A small fee will be payable - as at Sept 2003 this is 10.

If you choose to use our Email Us or Ask An Expert service, any personal details you supply will remain with us (we will not release them to any other organisation, unless we have your prior permission, or are required to do so by law, or you are promotoing violence towards animals or people or you are blatantly trolling utterly stupid nonsense).
