This book, Highland Animals, is the
second volume in a series of the Highland Life series. Published back in 1974 it
includes details of the different animals to be found in the Highlands of
Scotland. Written by David Stephen, an accomplished wildlife expert, the book
includes information on different types of deer, rabbit, hare, hedgehog, mole,
shrew, bat, vole, mink, weasel, polecat, otter, wild cat, squirrel, mouse, seal,
goat, sheep, lizard, slow worm, frogs, toads, newts, and, of course, the badger. |
