Description |
|
The Cold Moons is the tale of a group of
badgers caught in the maelstrom of an act of human folly, of thoughtless and
selfish destruction of wildlife.
The badgers of Cilgwyn are faced with a choice of staying in the valley they
have inhabited for a hundred generations or embark on a long, perilous
journey that will bring them either their freedom or their extinction. It is
their story of a fight for survival.
In this book we meet individual badgers, learn of their relationships, their
lore and the triumphs and tribulations. |
Summary |
|
Written with great knowledge of the
countryside, this book should appeal to the naturalist, the conservationist and
the lover of a good read. It remains a moving tale and a plea for the survival
of one of our last remaining large mammals. |
