Description | |
Old Silver Grizzle is a fabulous short
story about the badger. Not the European badger with which we are concerned, but
its cousin, the North American badger. The story itself is prefaced by a short introduction
to the nature and habits of the American badger, thereafter follows the story.
In essence, the story follows the case of how a small boy comes into contact
with an American badger; and how it rescues him from danger, and how he rescues
it from danger. |
Summary |
|
Whilst this is a great read on the
"paper", it is also a great story to be told out loud in a classroom or in a
story-telling tent (or even a tee-pee)! If you like badgers, and you haven't
read this short story, you should be ashamed of yourself! |
