Remember that many students study badgers as part of their college
courses and degrees, and a lot of students will get asked the same
question. You might think it would be very easy to copy large chunks
from our web-site and claim it as your work. Just remember, that your
tutor will not be very impressed if he sees the same words in your
essay, as he read from a different student last year. Your tutor can
find our web site just as easily as you can!
Our view is that as a student at college or university, you are
intelligent enough to gather information from a variety of sources and
write your own essay in your own words, using your own writing style.
After all, this is what we did when we went to university. So, feel free to read as much or as little as you need, and then please
write up your own essay, as this will pay you great dividends in the long
term.
In terms of finding information, this web site should be a very good
place to start. Look up and down the menu on the sides of these pages
(and the header links towards the top of each page) to see if you can
find a heading for the subject you are interested in. Otherwise, please use our Search
page to look for page which include the keywords you type in. Otherwise,
have a look at our Site
Map (this is a series of pages as it includes pretty much all the
pages on this web site).
Also, check out our Education
pages to look for specific topics of interest, such as research ideas
and summaries of research papers. Your university library should be able
to let you have sight of the complete research papers if you ask. Also
have a look at our
Factual Badger Books
page as this includes some wonderful books.
If you were thinking of copying large chunks from our web
site, please note that Badgerland is registered as an official source of
information with several academic copyright/citation agencies.
