Badger baiting swoop

POLICE and RSPCA officials raided a house in Oswaldtwistle today as
part of a big operation into badger baiting.
The operation was initiated by the RSPCA and backed by Lancashire
police force. A number of videos were recovered from a house in Rhoden
Road. Special plain-clothes RSPCA officers from Sussex have been heading
the investigation into the network of suspected badger baiters.
Firearms were also seized from a house in the Fulwood area of
Preston.
More than 20 houses in Lancashire, Yorkshire and the North East were
raided in the joint initiative.
