Description | |
Superb hardback book - part of the
Blandford Mammal Series. This is a substantial reference work and contains an
enormous amount of detail about badgers and the observations made on them by Dr
Ernest Neal and many others. Covering areas such as general characteristics, the
badgers home and environs, habitat choice, sense, activities, feeding, social
life and reproduction it is a very impressive tome. Despite the sometimes high
price for this rare book, it's worth looking for a copy on AbeBooks or on eBay. |
Summary |
|
If the later book (Badgers
by Ernest Neal and Chris Cheeseman) was known as the Badger Bible, then this
would be classed as the Badger Old Testament. Written by Ernest Neal alone, this
book contains some useful information which is not in later books, so is well
worth having on your bookshelf. |
